Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Eventbot service (https://edaye.fun and the Telegram bot “Everyday Event Bot”, @edevent_bot) collects, why, and how you control it. The service is operated by Aleksandr Kuzminov (“we”).

1. Information we collect

• From Telegram: your Telegram user ID, display name, @username and interface language.
• Your settings: chosen topics, event and card languages, city, quiet hours.
• Your activity: which events we sent you and your answers (“I'm going” / “Skip”).
• Google account data (only if you connect Google Calendar): an OAuth refresh token for the calendar.events.owned permission, and the identifier of each calendar entry the bot created for you (so it can delete exactly that entry). We do not read, download or store the contents of your calendar.

2. How we use it

• To send you events that match your settings and remember what you have already seen.
• To create a calendar entry when you tap “I'm going” and to delete it when you tap “Undo” or cancel — nothing else.
• We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not build profiles for third parties.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy – Limited Use

Eventbot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: (a) we use Google user data only to provide the user-facing feature you asked for (adding and removing your own event entries); (b) we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide that feature, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with your notice; (c) we do not use it for serving advertisements; (d) no human reads it, except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.

4. Sharing

• Telegram delivers the messages.
• Hosting: the service runs on a virtual server of DigitalOcean (United States).
• Event text: descriptions of public events are sent to an AI service (Anthropic) and a translation service to produce the short summary and translation. These requests contain only public event text, never your personal data or Google data.
• We share nothing else with third parties.

5. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on our server in files readable only by the service account of the bot; connections use HTTPS. The Google refresh token is kept in a separate file with owner-only permissions and is used only by the bot code to perform the actions you request. We keep your data while you use the service. Disconnecting Google Calendar deletes the token at once; deleting your account deletes the rest (see below).

6. Your choices

• Disconnect Google Calendar: press “Disconnect” in the bot (/settings). We revoke the grant at Google and delete the token. You can also revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Pause: /stop in the bot stops all messages.
• Delete your data: ask Aleksandr Kuzminov in Telegram (via @edevent_bot); we delete your settings, history and token within 7 days.

7. Children

The service is not intended for people under 16.

8. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell users in the bot.

Мы храним: ваш Telegram-ID, имя и @ник; ваши настройки (темы, языки, город, тихие часы); список отправленных вам ивентов и ваши ответы. Если вы подключаете Google Календарь, мы получаем разрешение calendar.events.owned и храним токен доступа и идентификаторы записей, которые бот создал для вас. Содержимое вашего календаря мы не читаем и не сохраняем. Бот использует доступ только чтобы создать событие по кнопке «Иду» и удалить его по «Отменить». Мы ничего не продаём и не передаём третьим лицам, кроме публичных текстов ивентов (нейросеть и перевод) и технической инфраструктуры (Telegram, хостинг). Использование данных Google соответствует Google API Services User Data Policy, включая Limited Use.

Отключить календарь: кнопка «Отключить» в /settings или myaccount.google.com/permissions; токен удаляется сразу. Удалить данные: напишите Aleksandr Kuzminov в Telegram (@edevent_bot), удалим в течение 7 дней. Сервис не предназначен для лиц младше 16 лет.
