Eventbot

Eventbot is an invitation-only Telegram bot that finds events in your city (from Meetup, Eventbrite and Luma), keeps only the topics you choose, sends a short summary in your language, and, when you tap “I'm going”, adds the event to your Google Calendar.

What it does

• Scans event sites every hour and sends you cards for the topics you selected (business, tech, sport, culture, food and more).
• Writes a one-to-two sentence summary and translates the title into your language.
• Tap “I'm going” to save the event. If you connect Google Calendar, the bot creates the calendar entry for you; tap “Undo” and it removes the entry it created.

How Eventbot uses your Google data

Connecting Google Calendar is optional. Eventbot asks for a single permission, calendar.events.owned, and uses it only to create an event when you tap “I'm going” and to delete that same event when you tap “Undo” or cancel it. It does not read, list, summarise or change any other event in your calendar, and it never shares your Google data. You can disconnect at any time inside the bot or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

The bot is private: @edevent_bot on Telegram; access is granted by the owner of the bot.

Eventbot: закрытый Telegram-бот, который находит ивенты вашего города (Meetup, Eventbrite, Luma), оставляет выбранные вами темы, присылает краткое описание на вашем языке и по кнопке «Иду» добавляет ивент в ваш Google Календарь.

Подключение календаря необязательно. Бот просит одно разрешение (calendar.events.owned) и использует его только чтобы создать событие, когда вы нажали «Иду», и удалить это же событие по «Отменить». Другие события календаря бот не читает и не меняет. Отключить доступ можно в боте или на myaccount.google.com/permissions.
